How can we help?
Write to contact@atelierpatel.com and your message goes straight to the person who builds MONOLITH: bugs, questions, beta feedback or privacy requests.
Reporting a problem
A few details help pin it down quickly:
- Your MONOLITH version, and whether it is a TestFlight build
- Your iPhone model and iOS version
- The tone and settings you were using
- What you expected, and what happened instead
- A photo or screen recording, if it shows the problem
The open beta
MONOLITH is in open beta on TestFlight and needs iOS 18.6 or later. Build updates and changes in scope are on the roadmap.
Purchases and refunds
Apple processes billing for App Store purchases, so refund requests and payment questions go through Apple.
Privacy requests
To correct or delete direct-contact records, such as support emails, write to contact@atelierpatel.com. What MONOLITH collects is set out in the privacy policy.
The saved photo looks different from the preview
The live viewfinder is an approximation of the selected tone, not the final Bayer RAW render. iOS does not allow MONOLITH's full RAW tone processing stack to run on the live preview stream, so the saved photo can differ slightly in contrast, colour, highlight rolloff and noise behaviour.
Photos with a tone are 12MP
This is a limit set by iOS: tones work by processing the raw colour data straight off the sensor, and that data is only available at 12MP. Shooting without a tone lets you switch to 48MP in Settings.
Ultra-wide, telephoto and the front camera
Ultra-wide and telephoto lenses are not currently available. MONOLITH is built around the main rear camera, and the front-facing camera is less consistent in indoor or mixed light. If you want support for a specific camera path, write to contact@atelierpatel.com.
Where photos are saved
All photos are saved directly to your iPhone's Camera Roll in the standard iOS Photos library, exactly like the built-in camera. Turn on Save DNG to keep the original RAW file alongside every shot.
